Walking Holidays NO LONGER AVAILABLE After 18 years running our Wheelie Cyprus cycling and walking business we have retired. Holidays and bike hire are no longer available sorry. But you can still stay in one of the beautiful hotels from our trip. See below.
Discover the charms of Cyprus on foot on one of our self guided walking holidays. Route finding is easy using a GPS unit with pre-loaded routes.
Descending from mountain to coast
Wouldn't it be great to have your own private walking guide on holiday? Well now you can as the GPS routes provided on this walking holiday have been carefully planned by local guides with extensive knowledge of the area.
It's a three centre holiday taking in some of the most spectacular walks in the Polis area of north west Cyprus. You don't need to bury your head in a map and you get to see more of Cyprus including deserted villages, quaint coffee shops plus the many wild flowers that adorn the countryside if you visit in spring.
Tip: While March to early May is the best time to see the many wild flowers in Cyprus, autumn can be equally captivating and the weather is still beautifully warm.
You can choose to travel at any time of your choosing, subject to availability at the hotels, although I'd recommend avoiding the hot summer months of July and August as it can be very unpleasant walking in 35-40 degree heat!
Stop and stare at fields of beautiful orchids

What better way to relax after an energetic hike than in a tranquil setting with a fabulous view.
The first three nights of your trip are spent at Paradisos Hills hotel on the edge of the magical forest at Lysos village. This family-run hotel will welcome you with open arms and delight you with traditional home-cooked dishes.
Your base for the next two nights is the Aphrodite beach hotel, a few km from Latchi harbour - a newly renovated family run hotel right on the beach and a short walk to the Baths of Aphrodite.
Luxury awaits at the Droushia Heights Hotel, a newly renovated eco-hotel perched 600m above sea level with stunning views over Chrysochous bay and the last of the three hotels on your self guided walking holidays. While there, you can relax in the cosy lounge aswell as your luxurious room or simply chill out by the wonderful infinity pool after hiking around the area.
