Relax Beach

We have stayed in Chriseleni Villas which is between the small towns of Polis and Latchi for the last 5 years, but each trip wouldn't be complete without a couple of journeys to Relax Beach @ Pomos...(30 mins by car).

On a typically hot day the onshore winds keep you cool, and although a stony beach the sunbeds are always welcome to stretch out on while you think of your next dip in the sea.

There are Reefs to the left hand side that protect massive shoals of small juvinile fish and its brilliant swimming through these in relative safety, although for the more experienced, the further you go out, the bigger the fish.

To the right you can swim along the large rocks around and into the harbour,we feed mashed bread to the 1lb sized fish that soon surround you for a free lunch and taking underwater pictures is a must.

Best part is in the harbour as you will often see Turtles feeding on sea grass on the harbour bottom, but be aware of speed boats that to and fro into the harbour.

The restaurant above the harbour is always busy, but does a good choice of mid-day meals with fresh fish everyday.

You can just sit and chill out looking over the bay or look above and behind you up above the steep ridge, there are always Buzzards or Eagles sitting on the wind.

The Beach is fairly small so get there early, or as we like to do pay in advance for your sunbeds.
