Passport for Cyprus

I am going to Cyprus in September 2012 for one week.

My passport runs out in January 2013 am I ok to travel or do I need to renew my passport.

As far as I'm aware, entry into Cyprus for EU citizens does not require you to have at least 6 months to run on your passport. As you are British, you therefore don't need to renew your passport before you trip.

But it's possible that visitors from outside the EU, especially those coming from countries that require a visa for entry into Cyprus, should have at least 6 months to run on their passport.

If in doubt, always check with the Cyprus embassy in your country of residence.
