Mountain bike fun in Cyprus

My name is Per and I am from Norway.

I am 76 years old and I LOVE mountain biking! In Oslo, we have deep snow for 5 months in winter. The Cyprus climate is just great and so good for mountain biking in the spring.
Lots of sun, no rain and NO snow!

I came to Cyprus in April 2006 and took some guided tours with Wheelie Cyprus in Polis. They took me on some great rides but this one was the best...

Long long hill climbs to test my fitness and a wonderful downhill blast with a river at the bottom. And look, I made it through the river first time. In fact, I loved it so much, I went back through the water three times to get Helen to take pictures of me.

Just look at the big grin on my face as I "splashed" down :)

After the river crossing, we then rode through an amazing gorge - the best single track in Cyprus and the guides couldn't keep up with me, I was having so much fun.
