Mosquitoes in Cyprus at end of April?

Staying for a week in Cyprus at end of April. Should we get a plug in for mosquitos for the bedroom? What abut day/evening?

Mosquitos in Cyprus

While April is not normally too hot, mosquitos can be a problem during the day mainly if we get a mini heatwave. Early April 2016 has seen higher than average temperatures with a freak 30 degrees hitting last weekend (April 8/9th) and yes the bitey creatures were around.

I would always recommend bringing mosquito protection and bite cream unless visiting in the cooler months of January-March. You probably won't need bug machines in your bedroom - I usually don't turn them on until end May when tenperatures hit the early 30s - but you will need mosquito repellent if the temperature goes above 27/28 degrees.
