Kampi tou Kalogyrou Camping Site

Kampi tou Kalogyrou campsite in the Troodos Mountains, Cyprus is administered by the Department of Forests.

A recent visit (June 2014) was a disaster. The site has been taken over by semi permanent camps with ramshackle caravans and even metal garden sheds. It resembles an almost deserted refugee camp.

The DOF appears not to be managing the site at all and I would not recommend any genuine camper and countryside lover to go there.
