I'm planning to emigrate to Cyprus before the end of 2017,first renting, then buying a property. What's the best way to meet other musicians in southern Cyprus?

Music scene in Cyprus

I would suggest going to the local pubs in Paphos where most bands play regularly. Irish bars are usually popular for bands playing.

Also get hold of the free magazines where various gigs are listed.

Kendall and Morelli are a musical couple that bring tribute bands to the Paphos area in the summer. They are also worth contacting as they sing on their own at weddings etc so will know that various musicians around. Just google them of look them up on Facebook.
