HELP required with flying to UK with Cypriot ID.

I have a problem i'm british cypriot and my wife she's English and we have 2 young children 5 year old and 11 months.

I decided to have a Cypriot ID due to if you need to purchase anything on contract or have a bank acc they want to see your ID and you don't pay anything! Cyta they wanted to charge us 150 euros for internet and phone but as soon as I told them I have a ID they said I dont pay anything, in mind that is discrimination as they are in the EU anyway.

My problem is I've been called to do the national service for this year for 3 months but thats another story, but I've been told that I am not allowed to fly abroad is that the case... I do have a Uk passport and all my docs are english..

What I'm trying to say is CAN I FLY TO THE UK BECAUSE WE HAVE A FAMILY MATTER!
