October is a treat month to visit Cyprus as temperatures are still in the mid 20s and the average rainfall is only 3 days for the entire month. If it does rain, it will be warm rain and it usually doesn't last for very long.

In our nine years on the island, we've only had one very wet October when we had unusual thunder storms that lasted for hours, mainly at night.

You can happily walk around in shorts, vests and short sleeve tops during the the day, but bring a sweater and long trousers for the evenings as it can be chilly if there is a breeze.
