Read my insider tips on the best Cyprus spa hotels from tranquil country retreats with natural healing springs to luxury coastal hotels with stunning views.
I don't know about you, but I just love to treat myself once in a while by having a pamper day at a relaxing spa.
Lucky for me living on the tranquil north west of the island, we happen to be spoilt for choice when it comes to spa hotels.
Having splashed out to indulge in a spot of pampering several times over the past 7 years, I can confidently offer you some tips on which spa hotels are the best.
While my favourite of all the luxury Cyprus hotels is the Anassa (read over 100 reviews to see why), due to its spectacular location just a few miles down the coast from Latchi harbour, I will be honest and say that it's not actually my preferred Cyprus SPA hotel.
While the treatment rooms are gorgeous and the indoor pool, as you can see opposite, is simply stunning, I do feel that the spa prices are, well, a little too pricey!
Now I know that aromatherapy massages and rejuventaing facials are pretty expensive no matter where you go, but there are far better value options locally.
Tip: And the best of the Cyprus spa hotels for value for money treatments is... Ayii Anargyri Natural Healing Spa.
Ayii Anargyri, set in a tranquil valley in Miliou village, is one of the best hotels in Cyprus because it is unique.
The hotel is built on the grounds of a former monastery and retains all the design features with rustic wooden doors and windows, spired roof, wooden beams and traditional stone walls.
The spa itself is built around the original sulphur spring that has provided healing powers for centuries and the treatments on offer include detoxifying packages with mouthwatering spices plus incredibly relaxing massages and age-defying facials.
Tip: Prices are also very reasonable. Find the best deal, compare prices and read reviews from other travellers about Ayii Anargyri Natural Healing Spa.
Having indulged in several pamper days at the spa with girlfriends and also once with hubby, I really love the fact that you can totally chill out after your treatments in the tranquil relaxation room, gazing at the citrus orchards and hills outside the spa while sipping a wonderfully relaxing or invigorating (your choice!) herbal tea.
Paphos has some good spa hotels too like the Almyra, sister hotel to the Anassa, and the Elysium. But the best, in my opinion, for pure uniqueness and a true get-away-from-it-all experience is definitely Ayii Anargyri.
