Cyprus Cat needs home

We're on holiday in Cyprus and got adopted by a wonderful stray kitten who we'd like to home. We put up an ad / post on Anglo Info:

What else can we do to hopefully find this great little guy a home?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Pet shelters in Cyprus

There are many pet shelters and groups that care for unwanted/stray pets here in Cyprus. I can only comment on the pet shelters in the Paphos area as that's where I live, although you should be able to find the details of the local Larnaca area groups in the local magazine.

Sadly kittens/cats tend to be more difficult to re-home than puppies and many of them are euthanased which sounds harsh, but it's better than a life of hardship and/or cruelty in the hands of owners who daon't care for animals.

I would get a copy of the local magazine in Larnaca and look for rescue centres and groups that take in homeless animals. Here in Paphos the main animal shelter is Paphiakos but there are also several groups based close to Polis and also kind cat lovers who will take in stray cats at their own cost then try to re-home them.
