Christmas in Cyprus

Thinking of going to holiday in Cyprus this Christmas.

We are a couple 50ish, like busy places with good nightlife. Near beach, good shopping, also like history and visiting sites. Any suggestions.

Christmas time in Cyprus, where to stay

First, I'd better tell you that will not find it busy in Cyprus over Christmas and New Year. It's our low season so everywhere on the island is pretty quiet.

But it's a great time of year when the country is greener, assuming we've had early autumn rain.

If you like historical sites, choose Paphos as you have the Mosaics and the Tombs. It's also within 25 minutes of Kourion. You are also close to the Akamas peninsula for beautiful walks or cycling.
