Aliceland Restaurant, Paphos

First of all, the amazing view at Aliceland separates it from many--if not all-restaurants that I've seen in the Paphos area. There are few things better than sitting on the terrace at Aliceland, enjoying their delicious appetizers or one of their traditional entrees while watching the sun set into the Aegean!
Secondly, being a family-owned eatery, I found you get a personal touch that you don't receive at many of the other local restaurants. They are very friendly there, make time to talk with you and seem to take a genuine interest, which is often rare. (I was dining there once and the lovely hostess was able to speak to us in English, then welcomed a French speaking group and later on, chatted up a German couple, all in their native tongues!)
Lastly, and most importantly, the food at Aliceland is quite delicious and as we were told, made fresh while you wait. In particular, their "chips" or french fries are very VERY good!
We highly recommend Aliceland and look forward to going back there when we vist Paphos again!
